Tag rugby is a club for Years 3-6 and will run on Monday after school 3:15-4:15pm.
Stathern did really well at the level to tounament in Melton and after winning their semi-final, against Hose, they made it into the final against Frisby. Unfortunately, after a golden try Frisby won the match. All players were fantastic and worked so well as a team. We are looking forward to the Vale tournament later on this term.
Tag-rugby has now been going for 5 weeks and we can already see a fantastic improvement! We have got two tournaments over the next few months, one at Belvoir High School on the 9th March and the level 2 competition on the 20th April at Melton Mowbray Rugby Club. Look out for letters in the next week as Mrs Watkinson will be selecting a team for the first tournament this week.
Note: Tag-rugby is now until 4.15pm and children are allowed to wear old clothing as the pitch is still quite muddy.
