Lunchtime Handball!!!

 

This half term, at lunchtimes Mrs Rozentals has been running a hand ball tournament. It has been great to get everyone active. The house tournament leads us with scores of Willow on 25 points, Ash on 15 points, Birch have 25 points and Oak have 15 points. These are the scores so far, so please come and join in and have some fun and help your team!

House Football Tournament

 

Every Friday Stathern Primary do a house football tournament on the playground. Each of our houses take part and anybody is welcome to play. Usually we play for 2 minutes and thirty seconds and if it is 0-0 we do penalties.

Golden Mile update

 

Golden Mile club every Monday lunchtime and pupils can complete laps before school and during breaktime. They just need to get a member of sports crew to record their running.

Current leaders:

Class 1: Jessica Swain on 3.17 miles

Class 2: Brogan Bough on 6.91 miles

Class 3: Oliver Calder on 29.8 miles and Fred Gil on 11.35 miles. Both have achieved their first bronze certificate which should arrive at school shortly from the Golden Mile organisers. Well done to both boys.

Class 4: Jack healing on 3.49 miles

 

Handball House Tournament

This competition runs every Friday lunchtime and everyone is welcome to join is and play for their house team.

 

Current scores:

Oak = 18 points

Willow = 42 points and the leaders

Ash = 30 points

Birch = 33 points

 

Skipping Challenges

 

Toby will be running skipping challenges next Tuesday morning before school and will start the club on Wednesday lunchtimes after the Christmas holidays.
