Sports Crew 2020/2021

Massive congratulations to our new sports crew members for this school year. They have already completed leadership training with Lauren Cotton from the Melton and Belvoir school sports partnership and have been very motivated to create and deliver new sporting challenges and activities for the rest of the pupils.

We look forward to another fantastic year of sporting fun!

Class vs Class Golden Mile competition

This half term we have run a Golden Mile class vs class competition to see which class could complete the highest amount of laps of the golden mile track. Pupils have been running, skipping, walking and hopping around the track and enjoying being active with their class mates. Class 3 had the winning total of 1930 laps and also had the top scorers in their class too! Alfie clocked up 570 laps and Olivia completed 220 laps. Well done to all pupils who have taken part and enjoyed being active at lunchtimes!

Football House Tournament

KS2 pupils have taken part in a house non-contact football tournament at lunchtime for the past 4 weeks. They have played in teams of three in their houses and sports crew members have been the match officials. There has been some fantastic play and brilliant goals but the overall winners with 24 points was Birch house. Well done to all pupils who took part and I look forward to the Ultimate Frisbee tournament next term.
