Summer 2020 Lockdown

22/05/20 - Please read our latest update letter below and take a look at our FAQs which may help you with any concerns you may have.

New Headteacher Update

Dear All

The governors of Stathern Primary School are delighted to introduce the new Headteacher who will lead our school from August 2020; Mrs Karen Lambert. We hope that you enjoy reading her introductory letter.

Karen will work closely with the staff and governors over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition into the new academic year, particularly as we work together to safely reunite our school community in an ever evolving pandemic situation.

Please do keep checking in with the school website as school opening arrangements are likely to be formalised over the coming days and weeks as we await clarity from the Department for Education.

In the meantime, we wish you all a safe and happy bank holiday weekend.

Kind regards

Clare Allen

Welcome to the Home Learning section of our school website. Throughout the coming weeks you will find a range of activities and lessons to use with your children on these pages. This section will be updated at least weekly and you can provide feedback and comments via the e-mail address for each class: (replace the 1 with your child's class)
Your child's teacher or the Headteacher will view these e-mails and respond as soon as possible. Please be aware that this contact is for feedback, comments and queries, we will not be providing any marking and feedback relating to individual work via this communication. That said, it is lovely to see what you have been doing!
During the two week Easter Holiday, staff will be offering optional challenges, ideas and links for those who wish to make use of them. There will not be the normal program of work offered or the same level of class e-mail communication during this time. Any concerns about a child can still be e-mailed to
Please prioritise your family's mental health and well-being during this difficult period. Thank you for the work you do with your children on top of this - it all helps ready for when they return! I hope to see you as soon as possible back at Stathern Primary School and in the meantime, good luck, stay safe and best wishes,
Matthew Lee
