Class 4 2020-2021

Backpack Project

Thanks to you all and your kind donations we have managed to fill and complete 22 backpacks and the remaining items helped to finish 10 more. The 32 backpacks have been sent to Mary`s Meals and will be on their way to children who need them. By providing the children with the equipment they need to go to school it also means that they get a hot, cooked meal every day. So what an achievement and what a difference it will make to those children. Once again, thank you.

**Flash News**

We are still going to collect children`s summer clothes, sandals and flip flops (including adults) as these are items the charity finds difficult to find.

There will be a plastic box outside the school`s front door so please put anything you would like to donate in there.

Many thanks

Mrs. Waller

Welcome Back !

Welcome to Class 4! We have had a fantastic first week back and it has been fantastic to see all of the children settle back into school so well. our first topic about Ancient Egypt is well underway; a very popular topic amongst the Class 4 children. As I am sure you are aware, it is important that pupils come to school in PE kits on Wednesdays and Fridays. Both of our sessions will be outside, Friday on the field, so please ensure pupils have appropriate warm clothing for these lessons. Homework this term will be a little different but still very much a key part of  reinforcing learning taking place in the classroom and building confidence. Each week a task will be set on Reading Eggs and Mathletics. These activities will be set on a Friday and pupils will have a week to complete these tasks. If you are having problems accessing these then please do not hesitate to contact me via the school office or at the end of the day.
