What a thriller! After progressing to the final smoothly, scoring over 20 goals, the final against Old Dalby was an absolute nail biter! Stathern went 2 goals down in 5 minutes, only to turn things around to finish 2-2 in normal time. A superb late Stathern goal in extra 'golden-goal' sudden death extra time secured the win - well done! This team will now progress to the School Games Finals to represent Melton and Belvoir in the summer. Well done to our year 3/4 team who played brilliant hockey and finished 5th. They won 2, drew 1 and lost only 1 game - a record to be proud of. All the players played with a superb attitude and were a credit to the school.
